# DANCE OF — Step 3 Free-Software Benchmark Kit

This kit contains the locked production inputs for the Kelly–Daniel bus-arrival
benchmark. It does **not** alter the approved `v0.10` master.

## Objective

Create one short proof scene that adds restrained facial emotion, natural body
movement, dialogue performance, and accurate lip synchronization while keeping
the approved composition and character identities intact.

The result must be rejected if it changes Kelly or Daniel's identity, invents
dialogue, creates a rear-bus exit, changes wardrobe, or makes movement theatrical.

## Included files

- `inputs/kelly_daniel_benchmark_source.mp4` — extract from the locked v0.10 cut.
- `inputs/bus_flow.png` — passengers moving toward the front exit.
- `inputs/bus_linger.png` — Kelly remains behind Daniel as the bus empties.
- `inputs/daniel_bag.png` — Daniel/final-bag continuity reference.
- `inputs/bus_exit.png` — arrival/exit continuity reference.
- `dialogue/approved_dialogue.txt` — exact lines authorized for this benchmark.
- `performance/performance_map.md` — acting and movement direction.
- `workflow/benchmark_manifest.json` — machine-readable shot requirements.
- `workflow/free_stack.md` — recommended free/open-source workflow and licensing cautions.
- `qc/qc_scorecard.md` — acceptance test.

## Recommended production order

1. Generate or record the two approved dialogue performances.
2. Preserve the supplied composition and animate only the necessary face/body motion.
3. Apply dialogue-driven motion separately to Daniel and Kelly.
4. Composite the approved faces back into the locked shot.
5. Add subtle terminal/bus ambience beneath the dialogue.
6. Export a benchmark only; do not overwrite the master.
7. Score the result using `qc/qc_scorecard.md`.

## Output specification

- MP4, H.264, 1280×720, 24 fps, AAC 48 kHz.
- No watermark.
- No color grading.
- Preserve the existing scene duration unless dialogue requires a clearly documented extension.
- Suggested output name: `Dance_Of_Kelly_Daniel_Step3_Benchmark_v0.1.mp4`.

## Hardware note

Wan/InfiniteTalk-class models generally require a capable GPU. If the Mac does
not have sufficient unified memory, use a free GPU notebook session. The source
materials in this kit remain the same in either environment.
